He does have a case...no body sends papers if they aren't willing to sell the car. This verbal agreement was a contract because the ONLY reason Pete parted out his car was to purchase this paticular Supra; Not any Supra, THIS Supra. Pete had the papers and a verbal agreement. The verbal agreement and the physical transfering of the papers which the Supra seller willingly transfered with intent to sell the car.
There was an extreme reaction for an action that took place. One action caused the other. That's the way i see it. I understand there a two sides to every story but NOBODY goes to the extreme and parts out their heavily invested car if the seller hasn't commited to the sale and then purchase new parts for his new Supra.
It's hard to prove verbal agreements but i think you have because you have all the papers from the Supra. Personally i'd go get that car just because of the emotional pain and agony it caused you to part out your 300Z.
